A MTG Prerelease will be happening on January 29 at Big Larry’s. The game is popular and will take up lots of room; no Pokemon League that Sunday.

This is a “trial run” for the future Pokémon Trading Card Game Club at Kent Island.

Big Larry’s Comic Book Café is closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day. However, we will see you on the January 5th (there is no Thursday league session on Dec 29th) and Sunday League resumes on January 8th!

… and by “party” I mean playing Pokémon cards.
Thursday, December 22 at Big Larry’s Comic Book Café. “Christmas” Pokemon league session. I heard someone might be bringing something fun to eat. See you at 5:00pm!

So, here’s the deal. The new modus operandi for the Leonardtown Gym league.

We aim to emphasize the significance of the Thursday league session. So, instead of, “Sunday is our primary league day- oh and you might want to come to Thursdays too if you can,” now we are *not* playing favorites and invite you to check out either one. We consider them to be in equal significance.

League Times
Sunday: 4:00-6:00pm
Note: Henceforth, we are listing the official league time for Sunday as 4:00-6:00pm. However, Big Larry’s Comic Book Café is open from 12:00-8:00pm and you are free to come and go as you please. Many people, (myself included) will still be showing up regularly at 12:00pm.

We *will* hold a Modified-Constructed tournament every Sunday at 4:00pm, if there are enough people. Entry fee is still $5.

Thursday: 6:00-8:00pm
Note: Big Larry’s Comic Book Café is open from 12:00-8:00pm on Thursday. Feel free to come earlier if you like. This is absolutely positively a serious league session and there are serious competitive players who come regularly.
